Foreshore Accountancy is based in Chelmondiston, situated 6 miles from Ipswich, Suffolk.

We initially welcome clients based locally in the Ipswich and Shotley Pennisula area alongside clients based more widely within Suffolk.  If your business is based further afield we may be able to provide services remotely to your business upon consultation.

Our services can either be completed at our offices or at your site, please state when contacting us where you would like the work completed.

Who is behind Foreshore?

Foreshore Accountancy was established by Suffolk Chartered Accountant Nicky Cordle,  whose local knowledge, specialist skills and experience combine to offer you a high quality, professional and flexible service.

Nicky gained her accountancy qualifications (both AAT and Chartered Accountant) with BDO Stoy Hayward. During this time she gained a diverse experience in the charities, education, self-employment, partnerships and company sectors.

Her specialities include the accounting function of the business; management accounts, using Sage and Xero (cloud based) software (amongst other software for accounting packages), financial statements, taxation,  budgeting, book keeping and payroll.

Claire has worked in accountancy based positions for over 25 years.  She started out working in practice for Grant Thornton, BDO Stoy Hayward and Spencer Fellows & Co before working for small Company's either as Bookkeeper or Management Accountant.  Her work in practice provided a range of experience in charities, education, partnerships, sole traders and small/medium sized  enterprises - both as auditor and in the preparation of financial statements.

Specialties include all aspects of bookkeeping, using Sage, Quickbooks and Xero, budgeting and management accounts.

Margie has many years bookkeeping experience including preparing VAT returns and payroll. She also has experience in workplace pensions/auto enrolment.

Sue is our Office and Payroll Administrator at Foreshore Accountancy. Playing an important role within the day to day running of the office, she will usually be the voice on the end of the phone when you contact us.  She is also responsible for referring queries and ensuring paper work and client files are organised appropriately.
